Removing foam with propane torch.  By removing the foam, the 3-d panel can easily slide down over the re-bar.  The    concrete or shotcrete then fills this void space, thus acting as your tie down.

As shown, plan ahead and pre cut your 3-d panels.  A skill saw with a diamond edge concrete cutting blade works best.  And be sure to where ear plugs and protective eye wear.
